As a comprehensive large-scale garden project, the previous Garden Expo has a large scale and high investment. The application and display of new garden materials are extensive and novel. A large number of new garden materials are used in the design and construction, such as: plain concrete, PC bricks, exposed aggregate permeable concrete, glass bricks, weathering steel plates, slates, gabion retaining walls, bamboo materials, glass mirrors, fiberglass and other materials, providing a display and reference for the innovative use of garden design materials. The following focuses on introducing a new type of garden material - PC bricks.
1. Development and Application Introduction
Prefabricated Concrete Structure, abbreviated as PC, means "prefabricated assembled concrete structure". As a model of residential industrialization, it is highly favored for its advantages such as high efficiency, high cost performance, energy saving, environmental protection, and consumption reduction. This technology is widely used in Japan and Hong Kong, China, and has become the mainstream of the industrialized residential market in the two places, but it is still in the initial stage of use in China. Combining the advantages of colored concrete bricks and natural marble and granite, it conforms to the national strategic policy of energy conservation, emission reduction, and sustainable development. Therefore, after years of development, PC products have been successfully applied to the new landscape material market.
2. Product Features
The surface of PC stone brick with natural stone effect is made by
1. Crushing the natural stone powder of corresponding formula into different mesh sizes, mixing rock flakes, mica flakes or different inorganic color matching sheets with different effects, and vibrating and forming with high-grade cement, certain admixtures, brighteners or waterproof inorganic materials in a certain proportion.
2. After steam curing, the bottom layer is completed with C40 grade concrete for secondary laying, secondary vibration, second steam sealing curing, demoulding, natural curing and circulating water curing after demoulding.
3. Use professional sandblasting equipment or corresponding milling or water grinding machinery to evenly mill out flame, litchi, stripes or checkered patterns on its surface (equivalent to various grinding methods of stone) to finally present different textures and effects of natural stone.
3. High cost performance
PC stone bricks combine the advantages of natural stone, such as richness, magnificence, naturalness, and integrity, and ordinary colored pavement bricks, such as bright color and water permeability, but the price is only 1/2-1/3 of the natural stone of the same quality. And due to its good performance, its initial construction cost (low labor cost and low cushion material cost) and maintenance cost are low.

PC stone bricks make full use of waste resources, reduce the exploitation of scarce resources and damage to the natural environment, and comply with the national strategy of energy conservation and emission reduction. The selected stones are carefully selected and tested by specialized institutions to be radiation-free to the human body, so they can be used with confidence. At the same time, PC stone bricks fundamentally guarantee the sustainable output of products due to the scientific selection of fabrics. PC stone bricks have various colors and long-lasting colors. They use the natural color of natural stone, so there is no fading phenomenon, especially after contact with water, the color effect is better.
5. The surface of safe and non-slip
PC bricks is polished at high speed with special equipment and knives. Compared with ordinary granite floor tiles, the swing value damping ratio is 60:32 (the swing value of PC bricks is BPN60-80), which is nearly twice as high, and can effectively play a non-slip role. Strong, durable, easy to maintain, and convenient to construct PC bricks are made through 13 processes, with a strength of up to C40 (capable of carrying cars), and are easy to maintain and easy to construct.
6. Construction process

1. Tamp the original soil according to the specifications or design requirements;
2. Spread the prepared 5-25 graded crushed stone (about 150 mm thick) on the compacted original soil, and use a high-power roller or leveler to level and compact it;
3. Spread the mixed C25 plain concrete on the compacted graded crushed stone roadbed (100~150 mm thick);
4. Spread the mixed 1:4 cement mortar (about 30 mm thick) on the concrete cushion layer, and be careful not to damage the leveled base layer;
5. If the road surface needs to pass heavy vehicles, pour cement mortar on the mortar layer (the mortar layer is 1~2 mm thick), and lay the PC bricks according to the pattern on the drawing, paying attention to ensuring the regularity of the lines;
6. The spacing between each PC brick should be between 2 and 4 mm;
7. The edge part needs to be paved with PC bricks cut at the required angle (using auxiliary tools such as cutting machines or grinders);
8. Use a rubber hammer to knock the PC bricks firmly and vibrate the sand into them;
9. After knocking, sweep the sand into the gaps between the tiles until they are filled;
10. After the project is completed, sweep away the remaining sand;
11. The deviation of the finished surface should be less than 8 mm within a straight-line distance of 3 meters;
